Asher’s birthday party was super fun, super hot, and super busy! This was a fun party to photograph and as always, the ‘blowing out the candles’ family photo was a firm favourite for a camera-shy birthday boy.

It’s essential for a party to both photograph the decor and activities (that took so much time to prepare) and, of course, the people! Most moms I know have frantically organised everything, and then are also expected to take all the photos (which they then aren’t in). That’s one of many reasons why I love photographing a kid’s party – it not only provides memories, it also helps out overburdened parents. And, of course, kids are fun!
